How Does Our Patient Intake Process Work?
We know you likely have either been to several other Minneapolis or St. Paul doctors looking for relief or you may feel stress due to a misdiagnosis. It is our primary goal to be as comprehensive as possible in determining the underlying cause of your chronic thyroid symptoms. In order to give us the best opportunity our initial intake procedures occur on two separate visits. This ensures that we have the time to address all of the metabolic and neurologic concerns to your case. It also allows you plenty of time to meet with Dr. Huffman and his staff and discover if our clinic is right for you. We have helped patients from all over the country improve the quality of their lives. Let us help you as well! Our unique two-step intake process is your assurance that we’ll spend the time necessary to provide you with the best thyroid support.
What Do the Two First Visits Entail?
Free 5 Minute Phone Consultation:
If you choose to register below to get scheduled for our examination, you will be offered an opportunity to schedule a 5 minute phone consultation with Dr. Huffman prior to coming in for your examination. This will allow you the opportunity to ask Dr. Huffman any questions regarding your case prior to your exam and ensure that our office is what you are looking for.
Dr. Huffman will review your intake forms, medical records, labwork and any x-rays or imaging studies that you may have brought with you. We encourage you to bring any previous lab testing with you so that Dr. Huffman can review it with you. Dr. Huffman will perform a comprehensive, non-invasive neurological exam to discover how your thyroid disease may be effecting the health of your brain and musculoskeletal system. Are you aware that many of the symptoms you suffer from in thyroid disease (muscle aches, brain fog, depression, anxiety, memory loss, chronic fatigue, etc.) are symptoms of changes occurring in the brain? With Dr. Huffman's specialty in chiropractic neurology he will be able to readily identify all areas of concern that are developing.
Dr. Huffman will let you know if he has decided to take your case. After reviewing your case history and performing your neurological exam Dr. Huffman will discuss his recommendations for future care and possible lab testing that may need to be performed. On this visit all fees for continuing care and lab testing will be discussed.
